Introducing Louie the Lobster. Canada's newest loveable kid's book character.

I created Louie in response to what I saw as a gap in available children's books for early active readers (ages 4 - 9).

As a teacher and parent I found there are few books that act as 'reading' stepping stones for this age group, essentially forcing these active readers to move too quickly from picture based stories over to 'text heavy' books.

The Louie the Lobster series is specifically designed to address this gap by keeping the story grounded with strong imagery and layering in more advanced vocabulary and sentence structures.

I hope you and your child will enjoy reading and being a part of Louie's first adventure - the search for the true meaning of friendship.
